About your Rachel, Wellbeing, relaxation and mindfulness Instructor and service manager of MindAlive.

A former social worker and social care professional, Rachel has worked within social care for almost twenty years with children, young people, students and adults specialising in the fields of substance misuse and mental health and wellbeing support.  Within this time, Rachel has experienced both personal and employment-based learning of the strengths and challenges resulting from specific learning difficulty, mental health and wellbeing challenge and ADHD. This experience grew her passion to deliver inclusive, engaging and accessible wellbeing training which could prevent wellbeing, health and mental health deterioration for all groups in society. An additional seven years of mindfulness and meditation practise and further training in colour therapy,  reiki, heart centred and soul- centred coaching added a diverse range of skills to apply to her work with people within the community.

Rachel is committed to continual learning and personal development and currently enjoys combining the therapeutic element of animal and art therapy within her work. She is passionate about supporting people to live stress free lives and is here to help you all find your happiness and peace within your lives.
